Job Description

NURSERY MANAGER - NOTTINGHAM - MATERNITY COVER

This is not an average nursery manager’s position! This role is for an experienced Nursery Manager looking to work for a professional company. This nursery requires a manager who can think outside the box and able to manage a small but busy environment. This nursery provides care and education for children aged from 03 months to 5 years. You will need to be an organised manager with the ability to guide and lead staff within a warm and supportive environment.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A MANAGER SHOULD INCLUDE:

• €¢ To maintain and promote high standards of care

• €¢ To ensure the nursery is financially successful

• €¢ To effectively lead and motivate the staff team including recruitment and retention

• €¢ To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times

• €¢ To work in partnership with the parents

YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• €¢ An NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3, or equivalent qualification

• €¢ Knowledge of the EYFS

• €¢ Knowledge of OFSTED standards

• €¢ Excellent communication skills

• €¢ Strong people management skills

• €¢ Financial management experience
