South Manchester
Our Client is the leading provider of Care Homes in the UK, with over 700 Care Homes nationally. They offer a range of services including Nursing, Residential and Dementia Care.
Their main focus is their service users and their aim is to run each of their residential and nursing homes as a family unit and to create a \'homely\' feeling that their service users can feel safe and secure in.
You will have the following:
1st level Nurse, (Nursing Care Centre) or NVQ Level 3 in care of the Elderly (Residential Care Centre).
Previous management/supervisory experience
Registered Managers Award (achieved/working towards) or equivalent qualification
Ability to communicate at all levels
Full Driving Licence
Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Continuous assessment and supervision of all Staff members ensuring a high standard is maintained at all times.
Assess social needs of prospective Clients in a Residential Care setting or health needs of prospective Clients in a Nursing Care setting.
Monitor care plan documentation and undertake weekly reviews to ensure best practice.
Undertake general nursing and personal care as appropriate to Clients\' needs.
